    1. Why should I choose Richmond Park Schools for my child’s education?

At Richmond Park Schools, we believe that students can only fulfil their potential if they feel happy, safe and secure. Hence, our schools function as an extended family, and will ensure that your child receives the guidance, support and education to achieve beyond their expectations.
All of our schools share the common values of our Richmond Park Principles. We are one of the few school groups in Bosnia that offer the Bosnian national curriculum, taught in English. We also allow our students the opportunity to obtain English qualifications from the British Council and Cambridge examination board. We pride ourselves on academic excellence and want our students to master the English language.

    2. Is there an entrance exam to get into Richmond Park Schools?

No, we are non-selective, so we do not set an entrance exam for general admission into our schools. However, we do offer a scholarship programme for our Secondary Schools. Prospective students will be tested in B/H/S language, English language, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Logic (IQ), History and Geography. Please contact us for more information on general admission and our scholarship programme.

    3. What are the fees for Richmond Park Schools?

We have carefully created a fee structure that enables us to offer high quality education at a price that is affordable. For our academic fees, please contact us.

    4. What qualifications do the teachers at Richmond Park Schools have?

Our careful employment process ensures that we only hire teachers with the right qualifications and experience to ensure we meet our objective of offering the highest quality education in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

    5. What are your standard class sizes at Richmond Park Schools?

We keep our class sizes small to ensure that each and every child receives the individual attention they deserve. Each school has its own maximum, however across all schools we never have more than 24 students in any class.

    6. How do you communicate with the parents of the students at Richmond Park Schools?

For us, communication with our parents is very important. Once a child joins our school, we consider the whole family part of our community. We share news and celebrate success regularly via our website, social media channels and our school newsletter. We have also implemented ‘SchoolMind’ a school management software designed to integrate students, teachers and parents in a seamless and productive way. Parents can download the app to their device and receive notifications on homework, grades, behaviour, school announcements etc., in real time. All our teachers understand the importance of maintaining open communication with all of our parents.

    7. How do you manage the transition from the end of one school to another?

All of our schools work in collaboration to ensure the transition for your child from preschool to primary, or primary to secondary school is as smooth as it can be.

    8. Where do students move onto after they have completed the ‘Matura’ diploma?

Over the past few years we have seen some of our more successful students branching out to Universities all over the world. Last year alone saw some of our graduates awarded scholarships for the University of Oxford (UK), Imperial College London (UK), Harvard Medical School (US) and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (US) to name just a few. Situated a little closer to home in the heart of the Richmond Park Sarajevo campus is IBU – International Burch University. One of the most highly regarded Universities in Bosnia, IBU prides itself on its ability to ‘advance learning and transform lives’. Offering world-class facilities for teaching, learning, research and recreation alongside some of the highest quality teaching and a broad spread of academic subjects – IBU is a sound choice of University for further education.

    9. How do I enrol in a Richmond Park School?

Each of our schools have a dedicated team onsite for all new admissions. They are ready to answer your questions and give you a tour of our facilities.
