December 23, 2020Together, we as educators, along with students and their families, face the most difficult challenge that has ever befallen in the history of modern education - COVID-19. Our school is already growing in the direction of meeting the needs of our students in these extraordinary times.
COVID-19 is still very active and represents a great burden for our entire country. Therefore, full details on the manner of teaching that will be applied in 2020/21 school year have not yet been clarified, and it is very likely that it will continue to change in accordance with the epidemiological situation in our city, but also throughout the country. Nonetheless, we have decided to thoroughly prepare for all possible scenarios, and our staff has worked tirelessly to develop a teaching process format for each scenario, as well as the guide that will introduce you to all measures and technical information related to school life in the years ahead. Although we are aware that this will not be easy for our students and their families, we know that this is the best and safest choice for all our students, staff and the communities in which we live.
No matter where our students come from, they will be able to benefit from a fully adapted learning and monitoring system that connects them with their teachers and peers in an interesting and interactive format. They will also have additional opportunities for extracurricular club activities, additional classes, as well as educational activities compared to the semester that is behind us.
If our students are able to return to campus, they will encounter various safety enhancements introduced to keep our school family safe and our classrooms organized and focused on educational work.
It’s hard to look at the new school year and not think in a variety of ways how it will be different. It will be different. But it will also be great. It will be innovative. It will be exciting. And it will be fun. That's what our students deserve... Whatever the circumstances. With your help, we believe that a positive and productive school year is a challenge for our students that we are all more than ready for.
We wish you a safe and happy school year!
